Hi, I’m Angèle. I am a dedicated Registered Nurse with 40 years of clinical and training experience across various sectors of healthcare. Throughout my career, I have always thrived on providing a deep commitment to patient/client care and education.
After experiencing a professional burnout in 2001, I embarked on a transformative journey that reshaped my understanding of wellness and self-care—what a concept! This pivotal moment pushed me to prioritize my own health, and ultimately learn first-hand about the importance of work-life balance.
In 2013, I began exploring the field of energy medicine, diving into Integrated Energy Therapy then later Healing Touch. My passion for holistic healing led me into becoming a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor. I have as well taken on the role of mentor, guiding Healing Touch students through their certification process.
I believe that energy work complements traditional medicine, offering a comprehensive and holistic approach to health and healing.
Spending time in nature and connecting with the Earth's energy is how I fill my cup. Hiking, camping, kayaking and skiing are some of my favourite outdoor activities!
In 2023, I walked El Camino de Santiago in Spain, an 800KM pilgrimage that was both challenging and transformative. In 2024, I turned my focus to Canada, walking 240KM from Ottawa to Montreal along Les Chemins des Outaouais. I truly enjoy the rhythm of long-distance walking—it gives me a sense of freedom, a chance to explore, and be fully present in the moment.
I believe that by nurturing ourselves, we can better care for others and create meaningful change.
My commitment to self-care and holistic healing guides me in supporting individuals on their journey toward greater physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares, brings compassion, and is dedicated to helping you achieve your health and wellness goals, I’d be honoured to work with you.
In healing light,
Angèle Albert Ritchie, RN BScN, HTCP/I, QM
